Help Expand Equitable Access to Holistic Menstrual Health Education

Envision a World Where...

Everyone moves through menarche, menstruation, fertility changes, perimenopause, and menopause with knowledge, confidence, and community support.

A world where menstrual health is not met by silence, stigma, or misinformation.

A world where evidence-informed education, traditional wisdom, and holistic approaches are accessible to everyone, regardless of geography, income, or background.

This is the future Earth Within is working to create, and we are inviting practitioners, educators, and healers to help build it.

Together, We Can Transform Menstrual Health Education

Why This Work Matters

Menstrual Health Education Remains Out of Reach for Many

11% of middle school students receive comprehensive sexual education where menstruation is often not explicitly covered.*

24% of high school students receive comprehensive sexual education that prepares them for menstrual health.*

43% of Black women report being discriminated against or mistreated when seeking healthcare, contributing to significant gaps in support and information during menopause.**

67% of Hispanic teens and 51% of Black teens report feeling shame around menstruation, reflecting inequities in menstrual education and support that can persist across the reproductive lifespan.***

77% of peri- and postmenopausal adults report being only somewhat informed or not informed about menopause. ****

84% of women experiencing menopause symptoms navigate those changes without support, often due to lack of awareness and stigma.*****

The Impact: Limited menstrual health education is linked to increased confusion, stress, and psychological distress, resulting in anxiety, depression, and shame.

Across every stage of life, too many people are left to navigate significant hormonal, reproductive and menstrual transitions without the information, tools, and support they deserve.

Education can change that.
