Why This Work Matters
Menstrual Health Education Remains Out of Reach for Many
11% of middle school students receive comprehensive sexual education where menstruation is often not explicitly covered.
24% of high school students receive comprehensive sexual education that prepares them for menstrual health.
77% of peri- and postmenopausal adults report being only somewhat informed or not informed about menopause.
84% of women experiencing menopause symptoms navigate those changes without medical support, often due to lack of awareness and stigma.
The Impact: Limited menstrual health education is linked to increased confusion, stress, and psychological distress, resulting in anxiety, depression, and shame.
Across every stage of life, too many people are left to navigate significant hormonal, reproductive and menstrual transitions without the information, tools, and support they deserve.

About Earth Within
Our Mission
Earth Within’s mission is to provide preventative, accessible menstrual health education through nature-based programs. Earth Within works in partnership with Indigenous, refugee, and low-income communities in Montana.

We envision a future where holistic menstrual health education is accessible to everyone, empowering individuals to better understand their bodies, advocate for their health, and make informed decisions throughout every stage of life.

We are seeking practitioners, educators, herbalists, nutritionists, researchers, physicians, advocates and other experts whose work aligns with holistic menstrual health education.
As a Practitioner Partner, You Will:
Lead a 2-hour educational session or workshop
Reach new audiences through collaborative marketing
Receive ongoing replay revenue opportunities

*All proceeds support Earth Within's operations, free and sliding-scale access, and scholarships for Indigenous and refugee youth in Montana. Future funding will also support additional menstrual justice organizations.

Workshops will be delivered via a live zoom call and will then be available as an on-demand resource on a sliding scale.

Chantal Blake
Chantal Blake is a Womb Steaming Therapist and Writer with a professional background in Nursing, Environmental Engineering, and Peristeam Hydrotherapy. She weaves the fields of medicine, environmentalism, and holistic self-care into fascinating and practical instruction for women of all ages.
As a world traveler and a wife and mother of three, Chantal loves to see women flourishing in their female design across cultures, contexts, and languages and nurtures a legacy of women who love their periods, honor their wombs, and protect their fertility for generations to come.

Dr. Kris González
Dr. Kris González, DAcCHM is an acupuncturist, herbalist, educator, and circle holder whose work spans the full womb continuum, from menarche to menopause and beyond. She is the founder of The Way of Yin, an education platform dedicated to every threshold of the menstrual cycle.
Her teachings draw from Five Elements theory, Classical Chinese Cosmology, and embodied somatic practice, translated into education that is accessible, deeply nourishing, and rooted in life. She is committed to ensuring this wisdom reaches every body, regardless of geography, background, or means.

Elaine Sheff
The author of several books on herbal medicine and healing, clinical herbalist Elaine Sheff has been passionate about sharing herbal knowledge for over 35 years. She is a certified instructor of the Fertility Awareness Method and has a certificate in aromatherapy. Elaine is the Co-Director of Green Path Herb School, where she strives to inspire and empower students and clients to remember their connection to the earth, the plants, and their own healing process.
